Mealworms & Superworms
We are new to raising mealworms & superworms, but the advantages are tremendous. They offer a great resource for reptiles, chickens, birds, and even for fishing.
Mealworms (Tenebrio Molitor)
Mealworms range between 1-1.5 inches and have a lighter orange body. They provide around 20-22% protein but lower calcium compared to other feeder insects like Black Soldier Flies.
SuperWorms ( Zophobas Morio)
These are larger than your standard mealworms are are between 1.5-2 inches. They have thicker bodies and a lot more coloring distinctions with dark stripes. They have a 17-19% protein value but because of their size, they also offer a higher fat content which is great for your reptiles, birds, or even for fishing.
**Our Superworms will not be available until the later part of 2026 as we are establishing our colony now**
